Refund policy

Effective Date: October 10, 2025

At Arab Hyphenated™, every item is made to order — crafted just for you. Because we produce on demand and do not keep inventory, all sales are final. However, if your item is defective, damaged, or the wrong item is delivered, you may be eligible for a free replacement or a refund.

That said, if something isn’t quite right with your order — a misprint, damage, or a mix-up — we’ve got you. Read on to learn how we handle it.

Final Sale Items (Non-Returnable)

All purchases are considered final sale and not eligible for return, which means we’re unable to offer returns or exchanges for:

  • Ordering the wrong size 
  • Changing your mind
  • Shipping delays out of our control

This policy allows us to reduce waste, maintain ethical production practices, and offer you unique, made-to-order pieces.

Eligibility for Return or Refund 

If your item arrives with any of the following issues, contact us at hello@arabhyphenated.com within 3 days of delivery so we can make it right:

  • Product is damaged
  • Wrong item received
  • Misprint or quality error

To speed things up, include the following in your email to us: 

  • Your order number
  • A few clear photos or a short video showing the issue
  • A quick note describing the problem

Conditions for return or refund eligibility:

  • Items must be unused, unworn, and unwashed
  • All tags and original packaging must be intact
  • Item must be free from stains, odors, or pet hair

You may be asked to provide photo or video evidence. If approved, we will offer a replacement, refund, or return instructions.

We’ll review your request and — if approved — send you a replacement or a refund to your original payment method. In some cases, we may provide a return shipping label and instructions if needed.

Return Window:

Our return policy allows returns for up to 14 days from the delivery date, including time for approval and return shipping.

Customers must contact us at hello@arabhyphenated.com within 3 days of delivery. Once approved, returns must be shipped back within 7 days after the return is approved and label is sent. Please don’t return any items until you receive confirmation and a return label from us.

Return Shipping Fees:

  • Approved returns: Arab Hyphenated covers return shipping

  • Denied/ineligible returns: customer is responsible for return shipping

We’ll work directly with our print-on-demand partners to resolve your case promptly. Eligible issues may qualify for a free reprint or full refund.

Refunds (If Approved)

Once we’ve reviewed and approved your request:

  • Refunds are processed back to your original payment method within 10 business days
  • Your bank or payment provider may take additional time to show the funds

If it’s been more than 15 business days since your refund was approved and you haven’t received it, please email us at hello@arabhyphenated.com.

Exchanges

We do not offer direct exchanges due to our made-to-order process— since each product is custom-printed just for you.

If you received the wrong item or size due to an error, contact us — we’ll fix it.

International Shipping Charges

International orders may be subject to the customs duty & import procedures of the destination country and therefore the total cost of shipping cannot be estimated at checkout. We accept no responsibility for import/customs charges on international orders. 

Return Abuse & Fraud Prevention

To protect our business and community, Arab Hyphenated reserves the right to deny refunds, reprints, or exchanges in cases involving:

  • Excessive or suspicious return requests

  • Incomplete, inaccurate, or unverifiable documentation

  • Suspected abuse, fraud, or policy violations
